Do you already have MYOB, XERO or Quickbooks Online but are not sure how to use it or get the best from it? Maybe you would like a refresher or want to explore some of the more advanced features. Training with Numerus is the answer.
We recognise that people learn in different ways, so we tailor our training to suit you. We are very flexible and can train one-on-one or in small groups, onsite and remotely.
Our training method works better than formal training programs as we teach you only as much as you need at the time before moving on. Many training programs will teach you every section of the software at once, leaving participants confused and disheartened.
One of our more popular one-on-one training formats is to break the training into a number of sessions. This enables you to learn what you need at the time, practice it, and then move onto the next session. We have found that many clients find this a more effective pathway to master their bookkeeping software.
Personalised training will:
- Give you increased confidence
- Increase productivity
- Result in less frustration trying to teach yourself.
When taught by an accredited consultant with your software choice, you’ll learn the right way from the start.
If you haven’t got your software, Numerus can advise on the most appropriate one for your business, install and configure it according to your needs, and then teach you how to use it.
We have had over 20 years of experience in software programs and small business processes and procedures.
Once you have finished your training, we offer ongoing remote support in half hour blocks. Please use the calendar on our Contact page to book a time.
Bookkeeping for your business can be quite simple once you get your head around it. It can, however, be difficult to set up your own system and keep accurate records without a bookkeeping background.
Bookkeeping programs will do the double-entries for you but it really helps if you understand the bookkeeping process.
Many of the training courses available are to train bookkeepers to certificate level, but most business owners don’t need that.
What they do need is to:
- Understand the effects of transactions
- Correctly code transactions flowing into vital business reports
- How to read and understand their reports
- Correctly account for GST
- Process their BAS.
We have been bookkeeping for Perth small businesses for over 20 years and have over that time worked in many industries. Based on our experience and expertise, Numerus can train you using your data and specific, unique situation.
These days there is more emphasis on tax and GST compliance than ever before. The details can be very confusing and a lot of business owners worry about lodging their BASs incorrectly, so have their accountant check and lodge the monthly or quarterly BASs. This can be costly on an ongoing basis.
What owners don’t realise is that, with current software, processing of their BASs are quite easy. Once you have an understanding of bookkeeping and GST and have entered all of your transactions correctly, the BAS is just a push of a button.
We teach how to process a BAS correctly by:
- Reconciling relevant accounts
- Printing correct reports
- Making adjustments from prior BASs and correcting mistakes
- Helping you lodge online with the ATO.
We are registered BAS Agents with the Tax Practitioners Board so can legally advise as well as lodge your BAS.
